Google is expected to unveil it’s next generation of smart phone called Pixel. Ditching the NEXUS branding.

According to the Carphone Warehouse website which appears to have  mistakenly released details of the phone two days early. The initial Pixel is available in two screen sizes 5″ and 5.5″. Pixel and Pixel XL.

Containing all the usual preloaded Android goodies, you would expect. The big change is the inclusion of the Android Assistant.

Specs for both new phones include a 2.15GHz 64-bit processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/128GB storage 

With a 12.3-megapixel camera (f/2.0, 1.55um pixels and image stabilization), and                 8-megapixel ‘selfie cam’. Fingerprint scanner, USB-C support and NFC. 

Both phones will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Fast charging is a key point. With some reports of 7 hours usage, from a 15 minute change!!!!
