The use of chat bots by the major companies is increasing. These are apps with replicate ‘live chat’ sessions on Support pages.
Using sophisticated algorithms, it will b become much harder to know if it’s human or bot. That question has been asked as far back as the 1960. The Turin Test, named after the brilliant mathematical genius Alan Turin, of Bletchly Park fame. The test involves judges in an isolated room asking questions via a keyboard.
The answers they receive on screen are used by the judges to confirm if they are communicating with a human or computer.
